Permaculture

Permaculture design can be applied to any situation domestic or commercial
from a family home to a farm, from an urban flat to a zoo. It provides an holistic approach to integrating diverse green technologies.

Permaculture designs are tangible expressions of thinking globally and acting locally. They enable the cutting of food miles down to metres. Indeed they can cut the transportation of fibre, fuel and medicine down to metres as well.

Edible Landscape can help with design in various ways. We can survey and assess your site and situation For example we can quantify things such as water flow with 'V' notch weirs. We can produce hand drawn plans and designs or written reports to the level of detail that meets your needs. This may be at concept level, broad brush stroke level or detailed planting plans. We can also construct three dimensional scale models if required.

Alternatively we can be used as a sounding board for your own analysis and design ideas. It is often helpful to have someone to talk through ideas with.

Edible Landscape also does the practical work of implimenting permaculture systems. Our wide hands on experience of sustainable land-use and diverse green technologies ensures our design consultancy remains practical.

You can see from the testimonial below that designs work on many levels.

'We are out in the garden for hours enjoying what you have created.

Lots of dragonflies on the weekend, some delicate blue ones and some whopper brown 'first world war fighter' ones

Breakfast, lunch and dinner on the patio and we also now have a hammock under the pergola which actually makes me leave work early (an amazing feat given I am a workaholic!)

The garden has revolutionised how we spend our time and our family life and dynamics it is amazing..........
...........actually spends hours in the garden now chatting amiably.....

Thank you so much!'
